f682aff184 When Hondas CBR250R arrived with above-average fit and finish (and a willing demeanor), our hopes soared. Bottom line: A healthy flog leaves an experienced rider feeling like the Honda wants to be somewhere else. The 500 felt very much like the 300 ergonomically but it also carried a fair amount more visual gravitas: The bigger twin-cylinder engine behind the fairing and the 120/160 tires (versus the 110/140 of the 300) makes it look like less of a beginner bike, if that makes sense. The CBR500 is quite reliable and in my opinion one of the best handling bikes out there with regards to comfort and riding position. I see myself keeping it for another year or two, polishing my cornering, braking and situational awareness skills before moving up the food chain. We say feels, because the Honda actually isnt much bigger. So, Id pick the Ninja 300. And while Team Green merely fiddled in the margins with the 300s chassis, it continues to impress us as fit and friendly in its own way. vodapas is offline Quote Quick Reply post #9 of 12 (permalink) Old 12-05-2014, 01:11 PM srob7001 Veteran Join Date: Aug 2014 Location: Florida Posts: 193 Thanks: 20 Thanked 42 Times in 36 Posts Quote: Originally Posted by vodapas View Post I still find it remarkable how well The Ninja 300 is holding up in all these comparisons.
